  1. PvM Shop Update It's here Yes you see that right, the Forlorn Shard can be used on T3 Chaotic's (Maul, Rapier & Longsword) to create the Forlorn Primal version. Which then of course has to be upgraded again to Forlorn Primal Rapier (T2) to remove its degradation, then again to T3 to boost it's stats 10%. Yes, of course this is available as well in the Ironman version of the PvM Shop. For sure you are seeing things clearly, that is an OP Pack that contains x250 of each noted Super pot in the Ironman PvM Shop. We know overloads are a pain for you & we got you. We also know PvM points are gained a bit slower on the Iron modes, so we reduced the price a bit for you on the Forlorn shard (1.5M points less). Clearly, Void helms have been added on both shops as well. For the record, I am not done with the Ironman PvM Shop, there is more to come (nothing huge or as large as these changes, but a small addition I didn't have enough time to finish). I should also add; once you add a Forlorn shard to your Chaotic's T3, it is a one-time use, permanent upgrade. Let's go back to the normie PvM Shop. This is the Lucky shard. We clearly removed individual Lucky items, but did not remove the ability to obtain Lucky items should you so wish. Another change here is we reverted all Lucky item stats to match their normal counterparts. Your Lucky Armadyl Helm now has the same stats as the normal version, only downside is you cannot upgrade a Lucky item. You keep them on death though, so that's nice. Also regarding Lucky items, the old ones still exist and have had their stats updated, but when using the Lucky shard on an item for example, you get a "new" version - it is no longer the RS3-style items, it is the normal/old style (I did not like the RS3 style sorry). Using the Lucky shard is also a permanent one-time use item as well. You cannot remove the shard or upgrade items once they are made Lucky (yes, this also works on the Spirit Shields & Godswords). Let's visit the PvM Shop again.. Yes, our recent Store addition, "Perks" have been added to the PvM Shop. Every one of them. However, these perks are quite expensive and have reduced time limits when compared to the Store version (I gotta keep my Store competitive & successful or we'll go offline ). This also brings me to: we made a dedicated tab in the Quest tab to keep track of your active Perks, check it out.. When using a Perk, you'll see a new tab is available in the Quest tab: Click the new Orange tab & you'll see an active list & timer on all your Perks: Friendly reminder, when using a Perk, the timer STOPS when you logout unlike Vote tickets. So all that is pretty cool, but there is still more & I'm sure you saw it.. Indeed, there is now a Mystery Box you can buy from the PvM Shop. As you know we recently updated all our Mystery Boxes and they have been mighty successful again (gz on all the loots lads), and this box is no different. Let me open a couple inventories for you.. As you can see, they are practically busted just as you would expect. Featuring tons of items and largely useful things all PvM-related. Void Soulstones, Dark Totems, Crystal Keys, Flasks, etc. But what's REALLY good in them? We saw 3 good rares from the above examples, some Pernix & Virtus. But, what else? Below you find the entire drop table of these boxes. Being this is a PvM Mystery box, only obtainable via PvM points, which are only obtainable from killing bosses we figured we could really expand on the loots available in this box. This does not take away from any integrity of the game, it does not cut any corners. Sure, you can get lucky but it still requires you participating & grinding in order to get points. It's a great addition. Let's say you wanted to complete Bandos' Collection log but also really want a Zenyte. Well, while your killing Bandos, you're racking up PvM points which can be used to get a chance to obtain the other item you need. Or, you grind Gorilla's while stacking points and it's like a "second chance" at the item besides directly from the drop. All in all, that about wraps it up from me. As mentioned above, there will be another addition to the Ironman PvM shop coming soon, however it's nothing huge or as crazy as this, just one thing I didn't get time to finish. I really want to hear your thoughts below on this, pretty much everything you see here is directly pulled from your suggestion posts (found here) with some extra spice. We had a lot of fun putting this together & I am excited to hear your feedback so please comment! BIG thank you to @fm das for being a huge part in this overhaul. The PVM store is great for new players, giving luck armours and some PVM supplies, however you will quickly outgrow the armours you can buy and will quickly find that you end up just stacking up cannonballs or alching bandos boots for minimal gains, I would like to see a PVM box added to the PVM store, rewards could be GWD equipment which is super rare, PVM supplies such as Ovl flasks, cocktails, super restore flasks, Sara brew flasks, Dragon to dagganoth bones, 5-10 noted crystal keys, dark totems and dragon armour pieces at a more common rate, could even include other low level PVM gear such as berserker rings, archer rings, whips and furies Im not sure 100% how the server feels about this next bit but ill throw it out there because I think its worth talking about, Nex items could be included at an extremely rare rate, Nex items price will remain pretty solid no matter how many there are in game due to their examine value, but I do see players occasionally saying that its so hard to find a seller of trove/pernix. id be pretty frustrated if I had the money to buy these items but couldn't for weeks because no one wants to sell them, if more came into the game new players would still have to pay the top prices for them as you will always be able to arch it for a certain amount, but it will help them progress and not get bored. But yeh overall I just think that this would make using your PVM points more fun with a chance of getting good loot. If PVM boxes were added what would you like to see in them, looking for server input here

Let me know your thoughts! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2021 Year-in-Review Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to each and every one of you. I would like to start with this; I know emails can come off very impersonal but it's very personal to me. I know a lot of you that read this on a personal level. I've spoken to many of you one way or the other. Either through Discord, the forums or in-game. When I am writing this email, I'm writing this to you directly, each and every person individually. Ely is very personal to me and each member of this community is a friend of mine. With that said, I want to re-cap what Ely has done, accomplished & failed on this year. As well as discuss our plans moving forward into the new year. This has been Ely's 4th year since going online (officially 4 years in February/March 2022 actually) and that is a huge milestone for me/us. When I launched Ely in February 2018 I did not imagine at the end of 2021 I would be here writing an email to thousands of members recapping the year and how far we've come, it's crazy to me. I got you to thank for that, so thank you. Ely has become an absolute staple in RSPS when it comes to this revision. We've set the bar for this revision for time to come, and that's amazing. Let's get started with some miscellaneous statistics from Ely for the year 2021. Each of these stats below are for this past year only, not lifetime stats. Pretty insane, right? You guys knocked it out of the park. Over a quarter million visits to our website, over half a million times Ely appeared in Google search results, over 2.8 million drops were picked up from drops and over $100,000 were received from purchases. Absolute insanity, like I said - you guys knocked it out of the park this year. Also, 99 punishments issued? I guess I maxed my "Moderating" skill, finally. If you enjoyed statistics like this, let me know! For our 4-year anniversary I plan to post lifetime statistics from Ely & much more than what you see here. Up next, updates. This past year we introduced some of the largest, most incredible updates to the server we've ever done. Get your reading glasses on & let's recap. We started the year on January 6th with our introduction of the full Wiki available in-game with it's own dedicated tab. Players were now able to search drops, NPC stats, Clue Scroll tips, Grand Exchange offers and more while on the move. We followed that up with the ability to craft Armadyl Runes, increased cannon capacity via Slayer Rewards & a slew of bug fixes. Next up was the highly request bank overhaul, resulting in doubling the amount of bank storage players were able to hold as well as a bunch of miscellaneous sorting & withdrawing features. Next, we finally finished moving over the referral system to the new forums with another batch of bug fixes resolved. Following this we came out swinging new Discord commands, Vote Parties & Player Examine features - in this update we also reduced the amount of money required to start the Well of Goodwill. We instantly followed this update with another banger - the Achievement Diary with over 1,200+ achievements & a Summoning overhaul. This was also the month Splash completed our custom-made Cerberus set that was uber popular. Next up was an update that introduced the new quest "Camel's Boy" by Winter with the herblore-assisting NPC "Zahur" that changed the way that skill was trained forever, as well as another batch of bug fixes and more. As if we didn't have enough bangers yet, the following update was a more fully featured Runelite client, featuring countless quality of life updates, the first 718 ever to do it. After all these bangers, we pulled back and focused on the back-end of Ely. Stabilizing our client and performing efficiency updates silently. Then we came back swinging with 3 consecutive updates featuring nothing but bug fixes as we focused on stability and overall smoothing game play for everyone. When it was time for the next update we came out with a complete Farming rework as well as tons more bugs fixed (resulting in 17 pages worth of bug reports completed at this point). We followed this up with another massive list of fixes as well as a bunch of quality of life updates and changes. Then wouldn't you know it - we came out with yet another banger - the Upgrade Chest. The ability to sacrifice gear & items in exchange for gems to upgrade your existing gear & make it 10% stronger. This update also included the "Beginner's Amulet" which auto-upgrades new players gear from Iron to Rune while they train. Next up was yet another massive list of fixes, adjustments & the introduction of the Fire Max cape & Team capes. Also included in this update was the massive client update that allows players to now customize their own draw distance & better zooming! The following update was again, more bug fixes and also going back & adding disassembly options to all overrides. We came out swinging with another banger that included completely overhauling all our NPC's & the Magic skill and spellbooks. This update made Ely act & feel much more accurate than it did previously. Following this we released another highly requested update; Daily Challenges. Every day players now get assigned random tasks that are based off their account progress and a new shop to spend points earned in. The last two updates of the year were; more bug fixes of course & then "Perks" were introduced. This is the ability to purchase individual donor benefits (such as access to ;;Bank command) for a limited time without donating to reach the specific rank required for that benefit. As you can see, we stayed very busy this year. We posted a total of 20 patch notes which averages out to 1.6 updates per month. Ely is now in a state that is leaps & bounds ahead of any competing server in our revision. That begs the question then, what's next? Let me tell you. In the background we've recently began development on a web client. We even hired a dedicated developer for this. Why a web client, right? That's so 2012. Not quite. One of the most prevalent issues we've had over the years with Ely is client related. While we've largely eliminated most of these issues, some still persist. There a few barriers we must cross to on-board a player. One of the toughest is of course, discovery. The next issue is then getting them to download our client. Many people are skeptical of what they download on their PC, especially in RSPS. Then we have to hope they experience no trouble booting up our client. Often times when a player downloads Ely and experiences trouble, they just delete the client and move on. This is where a web client can resolve much of this. They find Ely and learn they don't have to download anything. They can load it right in their browser and give it a try before committing to it. Thus also eliminating any issues they may experience trying to load it from their PC. I've included a picture of a very early version still very much in development, web client I loaded on my iPhone. Yes, my iOS device. Yes, that is a picture of me playing Ely on an iPhone. This client has incredible potential, but we are months from release yet. I just wanted to showcase the potential this web client has. What else? Many of you may be aware we have spent a significant amount of time trying to get Chambers of Xeric to you. This is still very much in development, but due to it being such a large piece of content it takes a lot of time and resources. This is not something we can willy-nilly whip together, because no one would want to play a terrible CoX. We are making this as accurate as possible and bringing in many people who have a deep understanding & lots of experience doing CoX. With their help, we hope to make this as accurate as we can. It will take time, but we've already made incredible process & already have a version much more accurate to OSRS than most servers today. Couple months back we posted a progress / Development Blog update regarding this project, so if you would like to learn more and see some images of CoX in Ely, click here. On top of all the above, we have much more on our roadmap. We truly hope you'll be here to experience it all with us, because without you none of this is possible. Every player matters, every vote counts, every dollar makes a difference. You are the reason we are here almost 4 years later making incredible progress & seeing incredible numbers.   5. Daily Challenges This is the official introduction of the new daily challenges system! Every day (24 hours) on login you will be greeted with a new set of challenges to complete. These challenges are generated around your characters goals and will always be unique. We will be actively improving this system and adding more challenge types over time. Challenges reset at 12AM server time (GMT+1) If you are currently doing a challenge when they reset, don't worry. You will be able to complete the challenge and type ::challenge to get a new one. You are limited to completing 3 challenges per day. Here is what the challenge shop currently contains. We will be actively adding to and adjusting this shop as we receive suggestions.   6. First of all, any issues posted here will be controversial based on who reads it. Everyone has their own experience on this server, and nothing here is right or wrong but should be decided by the community which truly needs to be implemented or changed. One of the most important changes that I hope everyone agrees on is the ability to unlock or obtain items on an ironman that could be donated for otherwise (aside from exclusives or customs). Anything p2p should be able to be earned through playing the game in order to offer a fair playing field for any person on any gamemode. Monster drops/issues: Bronze Dragons still have a max hit of 13.5k with melee. Not a really good experience for a new player or unsuspecting hardcore (some variations of other monsters have insane max hits on wiki but don't seem to be present in the game). Nex's minions still get bugged from instakill darts or when someone titans through the last stage Almost every high level slayer monster drop table shares it's contents with one another. There are no noted gem or bar drops. For ironmen, slayer is only used for points and exp building towards boss tasks. Every skill should be rewarding on the way to the top. By the time they hit 99 players have so many seeds that they'll never plant them all before they quit. Any variety in the drop tables to differentiate the monsters from each other would be nice. Their drop tables don't have to be some generic items throw together or a copy+paste from osrs/rs3 Clue scrolls should be readjusted for monsters. No one monster should be so far beyond the normal rate that they could be recognized as extremely fast source of clues. This would be monsters like blue dragons that drop 1/22, while some similar monsters are ~1/100, and catacomb monsters that could be over 1/600. Also worth mentioning that yaks drop both easy and medium clues at a super low rate. Clues are already easy enough, and now that they stack, they shouldn't have extremely fast methods to get them. They shouldn't be too easy, but not too hard either. The combat level or difficulty required to kill the monster should dictate the droprate. Skotizo should have a faster spawn time. Getting teleported out of the instance, back to catacombs, and waiting for the respawn takes longer than the actual kill. Additions/Changes: Cutscenes or large buffer times should be removed entirely. This means Dominion tower, pest control, and skotizo mainly. There should be other ways to limit players ability to complete these things. It just drags the grind on and makes people not want to do them after they get the items they need. Everything should have a replay-ablility aspect to it regardless of an account's completion status. Dung shop should have charming imp in it for players that can't donate or can't accumulate enough wealth to donate. 300-500k tokens would be a good range; not too grindy but not too easy. Puro-puro doesn't have dragon imps. Some of the other imps should be reworked to be more rewarding towards the players of ely, not real rs. Copy and pasting the drop tables isn't helping anyone progress when the loot isn't usable anywhere ingame. There should be more mid-range bosses to do for new players. Aside from gwd and skotizo, there's not a lot of things to do for a player without a divine. No one should have to have maxed combat stats to start doing bosses. Boss point shop - Add some sense of completion to a never-ending item grind. Even cosmetics to show off to other players would be enough. Boss progression capes/armor would be enough to get people to start doing bosses again. Achievement rewards - I know they've been promised that they're on the way, but there should be some sort of completionist component to them. Comp(T) should be part of it but some of the achievements are absolutely absurd for an ironman to do. Making 25 of each dfs for an ironman would take ~21050 kills for both the magic and ranged versions with their current drop rates from kbd. Current rank 1 has 2418 kills total. Aside from the pking achievements, some of them seem to be added just to fill the slots. Otherwise some of actions required for the achievements would be dead content in the game. Group events where everyone received a drop should be implemented elsewhere in the game. Possibly hardmode bosses that even ironmen could participate in and receive a drop. Scale the bosses appropriately and let it be a free for all. Everyone seemed to like event bosses that were killed fast and everyone got something. It just needs to be added somewhere else that could be in the game at all times. Wilderness additions - Make a shop that can be shared by both pkers and pvmers. Bosses that give points the same as getting a player kill. Revenants should have a drop table that appeals to all players but have players skulled upon entering the caves. High risk, high reward. There is no reason to enter the wild for anything other than venenatis and wildywyrm for the comp cape requirements. The wilderness should be just as muched used as the server outside of it. Shooting star should offer a more randomized reward and have a higher amount of stardust based on how many players are mining. Mage Arena 2 Capes - I don't care how they're added, but there should be some rival backpack slots that can be better than max capes in some situations. There needs to be some trade-off equipment for different scenarios, nothing should be an absolute best in slot item. Minigames: Pest Control - Due to the low player count it's a struggle to get a team created and continuously going long enough for anyone to get the items they need. Most of the time it's endgame players looking to comp their log sprinkled with the occasional player that still needs the items for the first time. Games should be able to be completed quicker or scaled based on the player count. For 3-5 players, portals should be unprotected throughout the entirety of the game. For 6+ players portals shouldn't have a delay between dropping their shield. Running back and forth should be a big enough buffer to run the game on a bit. Zombie Waves - Not a bad game, got bugged with monsters spawning outside a few times, but the rewards shop definitely needs additions. I'm sure ironmen would play any minigame if they rewards benefit them enough. Barrows - Pretty basic, no problems with the regular barrows really. There should be a hardmode for the rs3 shields from rise of the six. There needs to be some other options for shields other than a divine or custom. Take the same shields from rs3, throw some decent but not overpowered stats at them, and make a barrows that requires some teamwork to complete. Really opens the opportunity up for other drops like the amulet of the damned on osrs. Gives barrows equipment some real use in the game other than someone's first day on. Skilling Reworks: Contracts - Simple enough, get me x amount of items for x amount of skilling points or money. Keep players active while skilling. Would be applied to gathering skills; Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing, Farming, Hunter? Add a skilling shop for each skill, add some primary boost items, and an endless supply of consumables that give a small bump to a players skilling items collection. Dungeoneering Why It's a private server; I haven't seen a single person in game vouch for a fully coded dung (other than Jake). We appreciate the effort of reworking the skill, but it went in the wrong direction. People should see skills on this game as a fun activity rather than a grind. After 99/120 no one wants to do more dungeons. It doesn't have to be the single room dungeon, but there should be at least one alternative to training this skill. Maybe if raids were implemented they could offer experience per action or completion. Some players even suggested elite dungeons like rs3, and maybe offering some new items. Forlorn primals should be a reward from raids/elite dungeons or be some absurd point count in the shop. If someone is willing to grind an insane priced primal weapon, then they should be able to. I'm talking around the 1-2m dung tokens point. Keep it rare but obtainable. Mining Everyone's favorite skill next to agility and runecrafting. Ores should have increased quantities or be infinite. That, or they should be much quicker to mine. No one's ruining the economy by mining a bunch of rune ore. Mining contracts - Mine some ore, get some points or exp. Points shop would have the mining armor, maybe throw a special pick or 2 in there for a heap of points, and a consumable mystery box that gives a small amount skilling items. Most likely gems/ore and anywhere from 10-50 items total. Gem rocks should be a bit quicker or infinite, maybe throw in an onyx but extremely rare. Probably 1/10k or higher. Living rock cavern monsters should drop more living materials based on the time it takes to kill/mine Woodcutting - Just make high level trees a bit faster to cut down. Contracts too but with some different rewards Fishing - Really just contracts. Seems like double catch only happens once per starting fishing. Thieving - Needs some variety. Just a carpal tunnel clickfest to 99 right now. Runecrafting - People only seem to want to do runespan. Maybe offer the ability to teleport straight to altars via talismans. Agility - Again another carpal tunnel shitshow. Pretty much how it should be but there should be more passive ways to gain agility experience. Silverhawk boots should be added, while untradeable feathers should be able to be obtained through skilling stores (suggested by Jake). No skill should be completely purchasable like agility is. Farming - Reworked to make herbs grow faster but they seem to die more than half the time. They also don't grow while you're offline. I don't think anyone would be against instant growing herbs as long as seeds are rarer to obtain. Slayer Some slayer monsters don't have drops or the drop tables are way too similar. Low level slayer monsters drop either nothing or are too spread out and drag tasks out. Kurasks don't have any drops but are assigned as a hard task. Ice strykeworms don't require purchase prior to them being offered as a task. Superior monsters have a worse drop table than their lesser counterparts. There's no real reward that would make a player want to fight a superior for anything other than the experience. Construction - Another grind that just seems to be a money sink for non-irons. Could possibly have contracts similar to osrs or another way to passively gain experience that isn't just one straight line grind. QOL Suggestions/fixes: More multiplayer content needs to be added other than bossing. Mainly ironman have no group activities other than minigames and dung which is a rarity. Raids would be a fantastic start, but other minigames should be reworked. Zombie waves was actually pretty fun but there was no real rewards from the shop. Group Ironman queue teams for new players. We spent all this time adding a new gamemode but most new players don't have any friends to play it with. There should be an open team board or the option to create a new group. Also people should be able to leave or join groups in progress but any new member should be starting fresh. Shops should have infinite or higher stocks. Not going to ruin the economy with items that aren't traded between players. Cannons shoot through walls. Not sure if that bothers anyone. Master capes should be unlocked at level 120/104m exp. Kalphite queen teleport is still khalphite. Armadyl crossbow is shown as a rune crossbow on your character. Stats should be buffed more comparable to chaotic crossbow. More weapons should rival chaotics. There needs to be a bigger range of items between starting and endgame weapons. Most ironmen use chaotics because they're unable to get gear or because the ease of getting a chaotic is the only grind they'll do. Dominion tower cutscenes should be removed. Make it faster but add some different boss scenarios in to add some difficulty. Time to complete should be based on the player and how they handle the waves, not how much time it takes them to watch the same cutscene over and over. Timers for potions go away when you get a levelup message. They should also have a warning in chat before they are about to run out, which should also appear if game chat is filtered. This server doesn't have to be a mirrored image osrs/rs3 and there needs to be some variety in training skills or obtaining items. Fully coded or making a carbon copy doesn't necessarily improve the enjoyment of someone playing the content. There should be an equal amount of attention spent catering to the server that's already there as much as there is for additions.

  9. If there is a template for RS servers it's that donations keep the server running, but votes keep the server populated. As it stands we don't receive 200 votes per day on all sites, in most cases we are getting little over 100, which means only around 20 players are voting every 24 hours. which is pretty poor considering you can vote every 12! So I've been speaking to a few people in game, Ryster and myself have thought of some ways to increase the incentive to vote, I like that the vote store has a large variety of cosmetic items, however this just isn't enough of an incentive to vote for the majority of players. I would like to suggest we introduce a "donator ticket" that will be able to be purchased for 150 vote points and will add $10 onto your total donated. this ticket will not grant any EP, and it will be capped at $50 so once you have $50 total donated on your account, you cannot claim any more tickets to get to $60+. you will be able to still buy these tickets and sell them to other players. This will provide a real incentive to new players and old to make sure they are voting regularly, either to earn their own donor rank or to sell the tickets themselves. I don't believe it will have too much of a negative effect on the number of players donating to the server as in the grand scheme of things $50 done rank isn't end game by and stretch of the imagination and If you want to progress further through the donor rank system you will then need to buy the scrolls purchased for irl $, as well as the fact it does not give any EP. We have also spoken about incorporating a gold sync into this, where you originally purchase an untradable version of the ticket which can be used by the buyer of course but would cost 250m-500m in order to make it tradable, meaning new players would still benefit from just voting but players who already have donor rank could pay a (relatively) small fee in order to make it tradable to sell to other players. the same way osrs bonds currently work. *note I would love input on this as I'm not 100% on the ratio of votes to $, however, ryster did some quick numbers and this seemed like a fair ratio to me. swell as this id love to see some other suggestions for new items to be put in the voting shop, perhaps a set of the tickets currently in the PVM shop or EP shops? Ryster: I'd say Mate and I see eye to eye on this idea, and I think it's actually a pretty damn good one. There's some things I expect criticism for with this idea, so I'd like to address what I see as possible arguments. This reduces the incentive to actually donate This is a possible outcome if the conversion rate of votes to "total donation" isn't within a certain threshold. It's crucial that we maximize the amount of votes to bring in new players (who will likely either donate/vote themselves for a beautiful feedback loop), while also not over-incentivizing the system so that players will exclusively vote for "total donated" instead of actually donating. With a maximum of ~5k votes per year per forum account, voting twice a day every day, it would take around 2 weeks of non-stop voting to achieve $10 worth of "total donated" at the conversion rate we stopped at. Players will abuse this system by creating multiple accounts to get more "total donation" This is a valid argument, but you have to consider the logistics of accomplishing this and the effects it actually has. You can get around voting restrictions by creating a new forum account and using a VPN, this is true. However, The cumbersome process of doing this is more trouble than it's worth for the reward. The first criticism response comes into player here; If the conversion rate is just right, we will only be incentivizing normal voting. But lets evaluate what would happen in the case that people were doing this en masse. Even if there were some people who were motivated to "abuse" this loophole, all they're doing is working harder to boost the server while only cutting their time down a bit to get $10 worth of non-ep generating "total donated." If this were actually "abused" in any meaningful capacity, it would be incredibly niche and wouldn't last long. Players will just buy vote tickets to get their "total donated" up. Yes, but not anywhere near as fast or convenient as you would think. Vote tickets would very likely increase in value as a result of this change. At 250 votes per $10 (without ep) at 4m per vote you're looking at 1b GP. That would be on par with a normal $10 scroll, but it's also a guaranteed way to increase "total donated" over time, creating demand while the supply of these already useful items is always limited. Any excess vote tickets in the system after this was implemented would get scooped up very quickly. Essentially, what we get from this is a better incentive to vote, increasing our exposure while also adding a slow, yet balanced, but guaranteed method of increasing "total donated." I believe it's important, After having maxed their ability to use these "donator tickets," that that player could still buy these tickets and sell them on the market to retain the voting incentive. That might be more controversial though.

  10. First off, Let me start this off with something important. Yes, we got a BANGER of an update here BUT.. But, disclaimer.. This is still a work-in-progress. Yes, we've made incredible progress on Chamber's of Xeric but we have one final thing to do.. and that is to push it live to you guys to give it real, thorough testing. We are severely limited on what we are capable of achieving with 2-3 people testing on the beta server and over the years we've learned the best, most thorough & accurate testing we can get is on the live server. Now it's your turn. Getting Started I won't spell out exactly how to do Chamber's of Xeric for two reasons, #1: I don't know how to do it & #2: it's not 100% 1:1 OSRS (yet). So I'm unsure of the quirks, things that were done differently & so on. But to get started, ;;tele cox & you must be in a Friends Chat with whom you want to Raid with. Then you click on the door to enter the Chamber's & you'll be in the Lobby ready to go! Again, this is a work in progress. Expect there to be issues, bugs, God knows what else. You guys are really going to test and be the true 'beta' testers for Raids as you report what's wrong and we iron out the kinks. Expect this to take some time but we will work to get fixes out as quick as possible as they come in. Nevertheless, it should be fun. I'm excited to see everyone dive in from first-timer's to the sweaty experienced raiders and everyone in between. We've made some incredible progress on it, we're sure you'll see & be able to appreciate. But, go in not expecting 1:1 perfection. Rather, quite the opposite. Go in with the realization that you are a huge part of what will make this a 1:1 incredible experience in the future as we work it out along the way. This is such a large piece of content and so complex & with our Team it's just simply impossible to put out perfection from the door on something like this. With that said, have fun, good luck, enjoy the experience & we look forward to the hilarious bug reports. Last Man Standing The entrance to Last Man Standing can be found at home to the West of the Bank. Simply click the portal to get ready! A minimum of 3 players is required to start. There is also a LMS Leaderboard & clearly I am one of the best at the game hence being #3. One thing to note, there is no points system/reward shop just yet, as we would like to get this content out there for further testing & once all the kinks are worked out we will finish implementing the points system & respective shop. The way it basically works is: You join the queue through the portal at Home. Once in-game, killing a player rewards you with a Chest Key to get better gear. As gear is pulled as seen below: Gives 1-3 items 10% Chance -> Items from Treasure Table (player added items that caan be found in LMS and taken from game if you win) 50% Chance -> Random item with a bonus of 70 or higher taken from member of the game Lobby Remainder -> Alternative Loot Coffers Coffers are awesome. There are supplemental drops to the normal drops you receive. Currently they are mostly obtained via killing Bosses within Ely. There are a slew of Coffers available: However, they require a key to open. All of them require a "Ethereal Coffer Key" besides the Skiller's Coffer (free to open). You can obtain keys only from Voting (Vote Shop) or the Donor Store. When opening a Coffer, there is an animation that plays out visible to all players. They will scatter a bunch of items around and slowly disappear to display only what you received (typically 1-3 items). Every tier of Coffers can reward incredible items albeit has different rarity. For example, I won both these items from the lowest tier Coffer earlier: We are excited to see the loots to be had from these! Final Words As mentioned above numerous times, a lot of this update is really just putting all this content into your hands for further, more full testing. We need you guys to run through it all, find the issues and report back to us here. We truly hope you enjoy!

  12. Perks We thought of an idea some time ago that would allow non-donor's & lower donor rank players to have temporary or limited access to the high-tier donor benefits. Think for example, the ::Bank command. Everyone wants that, but not everyone can/will/wants too spend $500+ to get it. That makes sense & is understandable. So we thought, how could we make it more accessible to more, without changing the ranks themselves? Time. We took our existing donor benefits, and put them into time-based, expiring perks you can individually purchase. Each perk has a price & a time. See below for a breakdown: Pillage - Receive double the loot from the Crystal Chest for every key - 24 Hours Proclivity - Receive the option to choose from 2 different Slayer Tasks - 24 Hours Dualistic - Receive x2 the Slayer Points upon task completion - 24 Hours Invoke - Receive access to the ::Bank command - 6 Hour Invocation - Receive unlimited Prayer in PvM - 6 Hour Indolent - Automatically pickup Crystal keys, parts & coins to inventory - 24 Hours Archer - Receive unlimited arrows & bolts - 24 Hours Alchemist - Receive unlimited elemental & combat runes - 24 Hours Exertion - Receive x2 XP in all skills - 2 Hour Plunder - Receive a 25% drop rate boost - 3 Hour The prices of these perks range anywhere from $5 - $10. They are not meant to replace the benefit of actually achieving the ranks that have these as permanent effects, just give short, temporary access to those who cannot/will not spend the amount of money required to get there. These are game-enhancing, temporary perks. Better yet, each time you purchase a perk (or anything for that matter), you are slowly building up towards & getting closer too the rank that has these as a permanent effect. We see them as a win/win. Even better still, these are all tradable. Just as it is with Scrolls (people who don't want to donate can still reap the benefits of donor status), it is with perks. A non-donor can buy these from other players and enjoy these benefits. What if I am already a Patron and receive these? Obviously many of these perks may not apply to you. You already have ::Bank, you already get to pick your Slayer Tasks & already have Crystal Key pickup abilities. Yes, most of these will not benefit you anymore than you already have. However, if you're a Bronze Patron ($1k) & receive 10% XP boost permanently; you can still use "Exertion - x2 XP" perk & get that 10% bumped up to 100% temporarily. BUT - if you're a Diamond Patron ($3k) and already get a 50% increase, you'll only receive another 50% increase on top; still a 50% increase, but not x2 on top of your 50% like others will receive. In short, it overrides your donor benefit. If you are Gold Patron ($2k) and already get the 15% drop rate increase, "Plunder - 25% drop rate boost" perk will increase that 15% to 25%, not stack to 40%. A timer will be available in the Quest Tab, below the Well of Goodwill info that will display each perk & it's time remaining once activated. Final Word All in all, our main goal with this addition is just like it was with Scrolls: make everything more accessible to as many players as possible. Of course, we also hope these will be popular additions to our Store that it may help increase our sales & revenue to keep our expenses paid, development continued & advertisements up. Upgrade Chest It's been about a month since our last update (not too bad), but we've been cranking out some new ideas & miscellaneous things to benefit the server over the long-term as we begin our adventure starting on Raids development, which is going to take time. However, we will not stop bringing bug fixes, changes & updates during the course of time it takes to complete. With that said, check this out! The Upgrade Chest is a new object available in-game, found North of the Home Bank. This Upgrade chest allows players to put in an item (list below) in hopes of returning an upgraded version of that same item. If you have an item you would like to give a shot at upgrading, just use the item on the chest. When you continue you'll be presented with the following options: If you're the proud owner of at least 20 Gems, you'll be able to guarantee the upgrade with no chance of failure. However, if you are as poor as I suspect, you'll have to test your luck.. Luckily in this example my Bandos chestplate came out safely the other side & with increased stats. However, that is not always the case.. When you fail you will receive a different amount of gems depending on the item you failed with. Each item also has a different amount of required gems to guarantee a successful upgrade (seen below). However, let's compare the difference in stats for the Bandos chestplate: Simply put, any item available for upgrade (list below) will have a 10% increase of stats across the board. So, which items are available for upgrading & how much do they cost? ( @GIM Opoxi wink, wink ) We will be launching this new system with the most commonly used items within Ely, with the plans of expanding the list of available items to upgrade in the future as time goes on. We made the system as simple as possible for expansion in the future! When clicking on the chest, it will bring up a list of all the available upgradable items. Items colored in green mean you have that (t2) item in bank/inv/equipped & yellow means you have the normal version. Beginner's Amulet This will be relatively useless to 99% of you reading this, however something cool to mention. We created a new amulet that all new players will have equipped upon joining Ely (excluding Ironmen accounts) that will auto-upgrade their gear. Check out what I mean: As you can see, all three attack styles while wearing the Beginner's Amulet will automatically have their gear & weapons upgraded accordingly. There is a cap of course - see the chart below to see how far it goes: Basic level requirements are still required for gear to upgrade appropriately. You cannot upgrade to Green d'hide automatically if you didn't get level 40 Defence already when working on your Melee. As mentioned above this isn't an update relevant to you guys directly, but for new players this should help ease the pain of running to & fro upgrading nonsensical equipment that is dirt cheap & easily obtainable. Note: Ironmen do not get the Beginner's Amulet. Can't have Ironman turned too Lazyman mode. Final Note With all that said, I will be following this update up shortly with some more miscellaneous changes hopefully in the next day or two.   17. Been a while since these have been done. Time to bring em back Owner Lation - good owner. Bringing new ideas and new things to the table is good. Can definitely notice a decrease in activity both in game and with updates. I understand things happen and that’s okay, but it is noticed. Doesn’t change the fact that lation is a very good owner and the server wouldn’t be where it is with someone else at the helm Matt - I maintain that Matt is one of if not the best coder working on RuneScape private servers. Would love to see more and more consistent, which I think is coming. But life does have to take precedence. Keep doing good things Developer Splash / Hardcore - incredible modeling. Without a doubt creates some of the best things on the server. Good guy to talk to, good work, 10/10 Administrators Will - good admin. Basically gone though. In the most respectful way possible, I think a step down from admin to mod or off of the staff team is needed- or an increase back to old Will levels. But again, real life does take precedence. Server Moderator Chimpanzee - good server mod. Once again real life busy and is understandable. Will be good if/when more time becomes available Xenith - Great mod. Fun person to be around and talk to. Very knowledgeable. Very consistent. Another 10/10 Event Manager Satoshi / fm das - again in the most respectful way to those before you, best event manager we’ve had. Coming up with great ideas and executing them to the best of your ability. In addition to the event manager role, very active and knowledgeable in game and on discord. Absolutely no complaints. 10/10 Support Ishan - Great friend. Too much afk for support role imo. Needs to be more active in game to show his game knowledge. Owl / Kutanaga - pretty similar to ishan. Great when online, but seems to be lower activity than before. Could be different time zones but I’m not sure Sir enic - too early to really give a good review. Overall so far knowledgeable and helpful. Will need to learn to be more strict if/when being promoted to moderator. overall I think the staff team is at an alright place. I think a couple more good, active mods and a few supports will bring it to a good place. The updates slowing down sucks, but I get things happen. I am happy to still be a part of the server and I am excited to see what happens next!

There has been discussions before about planning out a complete SOF Rework, Which included new rewards for the current SOF, reduced ticket gain & An alternative SOF Version for ironmen, containing minor supplies & cosmetics. This is definitely a required update at this point due to the overwhelming amount of tickets people have stocked up.

  19. The Chambers of Xeric uses a unique party finding system to help determine how strong the team is. This will affect the strength of the monsters and bosses, in addition to the requirements needed in the skilling rooms. Players can bring their own supplies in, but will need to utilise the chambers' resources in order to defeat the increasingly strong bosses. This is my first guide, and based on own experiences so far, so don't be so harsh Please dm if you find any error/mistakes so I can update the post. PvM Boxes: Increase cost to 20-50k PvM points (based on how the below suggestions are weighted) Increase possible loot rolls from 1 to 1-3 (like clue scrolls) Increase overall common/uncommon loot to match the point cost Move Cerb crystals/Nex armors/Zenytes to ultra rare table Make GWD armors a tier rarer Add random potions/food drops similar to the deadman mode drops on osrs (brews/restores/super sets/spec restores/misc food) PvP Armors: Make them repairable, increase duration to 2 hours Weighted repair cost based on how armors/weapons compare to current high tier gear; 10m per armor piece, 20m per weapon for full 100% charge Remove PvP armor drops from chaos elemental, replace them with tyrannical ring/ring of the gods, as there is no boss that drops them Increase overall drop table of revenants, similar to osrs, increase the rarity of PvP armors for low level revenants Remove unlimited ammunition donor perk from ranged PvP weapons (I would also remove it for onyx bolts e too) Special attacks with PvP weapons drain total charges by 0.5% Kiln Capes: Add range and mage variants, adjust stats to be best in slot of each combat style, no avas effect on range variant K that's it.   22. Welcome to the Ely PvM BINGO Event! Get ready to pray to RNG’esus! In this event, we will be doing a slayer and or PvM themed BINGO Event. The first 3 players who complete a ‘Bingo’ pattern is declared the winners and will receive the LOOTS! Once you tick off an item or challenge on the list, the Discord server will mark and keep track of your BINGO card with the items/challenges you’ve completed until 3 players have won the game. These BINGO games will be an ongoing and themed event. Meaning that we will have PvM, Skilling, and other themed games that can be activated at any time by staff via the ‘!bingo’ command in the Announcement section of the Server Discord. *Each time a Bingo event is started, the cards and challenges will be randomized to fit the given theme, not all card combinations will be the same* Rules: · Ensure your Discord is linked to your in-game account to receive progress notifications. · Players must complete a line with five items/challenges in a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal row in order to win the LOOT. · You must obtain and or complete the specific challenge for the Discord server to recognize and mark your card, similar to the Collection Log · Only one account can compete, no one can play multiple accounts at once (Will check IP/MAC addresses to ensure fair play). · No use of bugs or any exploits of any kind. · Have FUN! Conclusion: I want to thank everyone once again for reading and potentially competing in this absolute banger of an event, but I would also like to say a Y-HUGE thank you to @Matt, @Will, and @Xenithfor helping me put this one together. In the future, we will for sure have different themed Bingo's, and this can essentially be played whenever the community wants. Not as a boy, but as a man. A man with his comp cape. And a man with his dignity. I could not do this by myself, though. I didn't have the power. I needed the help of some great people. And when I was at my darkest place, the corporeal beast, they came through. Iso, he sees I need it and he comes running in. Bronze arrows or something, kinda worthless actually, but he was there. Will, heard the gong for help and he arrived- actually stole more kills than he helped with, but there nonetheless. Suckatit, I think he just wanted to kill corp, but uh, he helped. And finally Jake. The Australian. The ambulance guy. The drink too much and hurt his arm guy. He was there. He was fair. And he was there with a prayer. Get boats the comp cape. And he did. He pushed me through those gates. I completed my kills thinking it was over, the dragon had been slain. But when those kills were done, the message did not ring. There was nothing but wind in the trees, and beasts slain on the ground before me. I check the log for what remains, and my greatest enemy stared right back into my eyes. Dungeoneering. Oh dungeoneering. I had forgotten. He sat there, looming over me like the mountains of lore. I knew there was only one person, one being, that could come from above to help me here. And that man was Gravity. Griv Grav himself. The pker, the wildy owner, the afker, but most importantly- the dungeoneer. So I crawled through the lands of Discordia, scoured the wildy looking for him. The only one who could truly bring me to salvation. And I found him. Stole him away from his mission of ps5, and had him bring me to the promised lands. And he did. He did. And with his help (and iso was there again but mostly got in the way I think), I did it. I got 120 Dungeoneering. And with that, there was nothing left but to walk through those pearly gates into the world of being comped.   24. So I opened 1k PvM Boxes, I was buying these boxes for 25m each and also earning them myself. the total loot was around 15b meaning a 10b loss. Which shows that the worth of each box is around 15m (which happens to be the alch value) I dunno who decided that 50m should be the price for these boxes but yeh, don't be buying them for that if you wanna make money.

  26. Hello there. As my side project here is to add new armours/weapons. Ill be listing in this topic everything ive added in-game & where to find them! Lets start with Dragonstone Armour: King Black Dragon as of now drops ''armour shard''. The armour shard can be used to dragon full helm, dragon platebody, dragon platelegs, dragon boots, dragon gauntlets. This will give a slight advantage in stats over dragon armour. Obsidian Armour: This armour can be obtained from ::Tele Fight you can obtain these armour pieces by farming Tzhaars-Ket's that have a drop rate of 1/789, Kill NPC's in fights cave for tokkuls, Kill Jad for Tokkul rewards & buy the armour pieces in Tzhaar shop. 1 Armour piece sells for 500k tokkuls. The obisidan set doesnt provide the passive bonus yet but it has been replaced with +10 accuracy on all pieces. Elder Chaos Druids: The Elder Chaos Druids have been added in-game. You can find these Druids in Chaos Temple just south from graveyard of shadows. Swampbark & Bloodbark Armour: There is a small invasion in a Canifis village, ::Tele Burg to defeat the Uprising Evil Undead army and (miniboss) leader Evil Ash We might need that broomstick from Evil Ash. Swampbark: Bloodbark: (Armour will be adjusted later on for proper rs3 style so ignore the hands and head for now) Lumby Moo Moo: Moo moo mo moo momomo mooo moom oooom moooooo mooo moom ooo moo obtain by slaying moo's i mean moo moo moo ::tele lumb moo moo moo moo moo mooooooooooooooo Hailstorm Dagger: This dagger can be obtained in ::tele canifis. Notice: This was originally an email to all members, however due to the unusually low amount of opens, clicks & etc - I'm reposting this email here to make sure everyone is up to date on our progress on CoX! Chambers of Xeric - Development Blog Hey, you may recall us talking about the Chambers of Xeric in previous emails. We discussed how it was our next major content addition. Since then we've managed to get some incredible progress and wanted to share that with you. It is a very exciting time for Ely. We are coming close to 4 years online and have consistently grown our community and established a dominant position in RSPS as the #1 718. With that said, let's dive into this. As we began our development of CoX on Ely we looked at other servers and how they did it. We looked at other 718's, even OSRS servers and anyone who had CoX in general. We quickly realized 90-95% of the servers we looked at had it wrong right from the start. There was no real, true OSRS room generation. Without that you can't utilize the Runelite CoX plugin's, etc. We spent a lot of time right at the start getting room generation true to OSRS. We quickly learned the only other 718 that claimed to have CoX had the entire thing completely wrong. Skipped tons of content, wasn't accurate to OSRS - it was essentially custom raids with the same assets as OSRS. We set out to have accurate and true CoX just as it is in OSRS. We now realize we will be the first 718 RSPS to ever have full, real Chamers of Xeric & we are really excited for that. This project is a huge project, especially on a 718/Ely. However we've made tremendous progress and I feel we've done enough to show you some teaser images of our progress so far.. There is so much more to show and we hope to share them with you soon. We left off at the entrance to Great Olm - and we'll show you more soon. In the mean time we hope you are excited to see this incredible piece of content finally arrive on Ely, and finally in it's true form unlike many RSPS & the first 718 to ever do it. Resource rooms, Storage & everything else is functional, storage is upgradable, etc. We are currently going through every NPC & Boss and applying all the correct combat mechanics and such to them. As we progress, we will need more help from you or anyone with knowledge of Chambers of Xeric to help us test & refine the content.   30. I would just go through the list of monsters that could be assigned as a task, starting from hard going down to easy. That assigned task list contains the npcs that are killed the most by the majority of players. No one's really going to notice the lower level drop tables, but it would be nice to have them, even if they have niche drops. Tbf anything but seeds and herbs from hard tasks would be a great improvement.

  33. This is Big This won't read or appear like a normal update post. This is more a description of what we've done as it's less of a list and more of a.. description. As everyone is aware, we are currently working on Chambers of Xeric. During our development of CoX we've noticed some thing that just are not correct. This included basically every NPC & how their stat bonuses work when fighting a player & our Magic skill & spellbooks were not correct & hardly completed. NPCs. On this latest update, basically every NPC (that exists in OSRS) on Ely has been updated. Previously their stat bonuses were not correctly being used and therefore were not truly accurate. What we've done is scrape the entire OSRS Wiki and apply all the accurate & correct figures, stats, immunities, etc to the NPC's. Now, all the NPC's we have on Ely (that also exist currently in OSRS) have correct stat bonuses & are calculated more accurately than before. This is a huge change, and could have unintended consequences. When you go into fights you may notice a change in how hard, how often, or not an NPC hits you. Keep in mind, this is how it is supposed to be, as all the values are pulled directly from OSRS's Wiki. BUT, if something appears way off - i.e: you get one hit, or an NPC has become unreasonably too easy, we ask you fill out a bug report. We may need to do some re-balancing, or not. We are unsure as the only way to really get this tested properly is to send it to the live server. Magic. The magic skill & therefore nearly all the spellbooks have been completely redone. Spells are now calculated properly, as they should be & many previous spells that did not work, should now work. This mostly applies to the normal spellbook. However, we did not complete Telegrab specifically, for a couple reasons but will be completed & live soon. Overall, we've completely re-done some major foundational parts of the server - things that should've been done previously but were never realized until we began the development on CoX and found these irregularities. It should be very exciting, as we continue to improve & make Ely more accurate than any 718 has ever accomplished. We've consistently been the 1st 718 to accomplish many, many things. We will continue improving and making Ely the only 718 someone should play when looking for one. We have consistently set the bar higher & higher for 718's overall, and with these latest changes, we continue to raise the bar. We hope you are excited about these changes as combat overall & NPC stat bonuses are now more accurate & realistic (to the original) than ever before. Client Updates We have added the functionality to increase your own draw distance & zooming ability. Note: Depending on many factors the results of increasing your zoom & draw distance may have adverse affects. Draw Distance settings can be found in the "Client Performance" section of the client. By default this is set to 10. If you are having poor performance issues, consider reducing this number. The image below is a draw distance of 25 while fully zoomed out. When changing the draw distance, you must restart your client to take effect (max draw distance available is 30). However, the "Double Zoom" option will.. increase your zooming ability by x2. This does not require a client reboot & instead live-updates. Again, these features are mostly experimental and may have adverse affects. We welcome you to experiment and find your happy-medium. (If you experience any unwanted issues with the client update, reduce your draw distance & ensure double zoom is disabled) Finally, one last thing we are quite certain we resolved on our client: a laggy home. We surely hope the laggy home is a thing of the past in this latest client update. Final Note We are extremely excited about these client upgrades - we know many of you have been requesting for a way to increase your view/draw distance recently. This was no small task and required hours of troubleshooting and digging through obfuscated code, but we believe we achieved a terrific result. Not only did we increase the distances & zooms, but we put the control in your hands via the "Client Performance" settings so you can find your sweet spot. Lastly, the bug fixes & additions we are also excited about. More items available to upgrade, more bug fixes resolved, new fashionscape available.. all around a great update & we hope you are as excited as we are.   42. Mystery Box Changes This may seem like a small update, but I had to put this out today due to January Boxes being made available. Below you will find a break down of all the changes, updates, additions & removals from both the Super Mystery Boxes & Cosmetic Mystery Boxes. Essentially, when it comes to the Cosmetic Mystery Boxes, they have been very underwhelming. So I set out to make these worth the time to vote & donate. Below you will see we more than doubled & even tripled the chances to hit rares across the board. Removed some garbage & replaced it with much more high quality fashion-scape. Cosmetic Box Changes Removed all Villager items Added 11 new common cosmetic sets Added 1 new rare cosmetic set Increased "very rare" table chance by 340% (.75 -> 3.3) Increased "rare" table chance by 275% (4 -> 15) Decreased "common" table change by 37.5% (40 -> 25) When it comes to the Super Mystery Boxes, we did the same. I originally made these nearly 3 years ago, so I felt they were largely outdated & needed a refresh, revamp and brought back to life. As you'll see below, we almost doubled the ability to hit rares, and are now much more common than they have ever been. With that, I removed a ton of junk just to simply make them less punishing and now give items that have more use for things like alching, gems, etc. Also added much more often needed items such as Keys, Totems, Soulstones & more. Super Mystery Box Changes Removed all tattoos, swag stick, swag bag, golden scythe, katana, lamps from common Removed all lamps, charm pack, seed pack, overload pack & prayer renewal pack from rare Added dragon boots, Platelegs, Chainbody (all 1-5 quantity), Whip, Dark Totems (5-10 quantity) & Void Soulstones (5-10 quantity) to common Added Ankou & Subjugation to rare Increased Crystal Key rate from 1 to 5-10 noted Increased "very rare" table chance by 81% (0.55 -> 1.0) Increased "rare" table chance by 100% (3.5 -> 7.0) Decreased "common" table chance by 17% (60 -> 50) We are excited to update and give our boxes a huge refreshed feel and chance at great loots.   43. Hi Guys and Girls This is a suggestion post/Feed that could use alot of feedback from the community in regards to the wilderness, so PLEASE comment below Guide: = Wilderness Ticket/Token. As such, I recently completed the Examiner's Apprentice Quest granting me access to the Wilderness Resource Area! (GREAT USE OF UNLOCKABLE CONTENT BTW!!!) Although; upon endeavouring into this area for achievements sake, I was quick to realise there is a few major flaws with the whole area, aswell as having absolutely no incentive to train in such a risky situation (thanks Vegemite ;), other than a couple of achievements. First off: Pond doesn't work at all, completely rendering the fishing skill impossible to train here... This needs to be fixed and/or modified; could be filled with so many rare fishing spots such as: Fury Shark's, Tiger Shark's, Lava Eel, Cave Fish and ofcourse Rocktail. And will also incorporate a wilderness spot for Fishing Brawlers... (I bet most players wont have even heard of a brawler or know what it does). Secondly: Addition of Coal and Gold ore deposits within this skilling area. And removal of the ones from regular skilling area. (This ensures that either way ore deposits are locked behind some form of content or Payment Method). And will also incorporate a wilderness spot for Mining Brawlers... Thirdly: Addition of Draconic Jadinkos to this area! This would add another skill to train within the Resource Area, aswell as a potential new animal to hunt! The Draconic Jadinko requires a Marasamaw Plant "box trap" to catch and will take more time to obtain than conventional training method's, although could give noted skilling supplies aswell as per catch. This method will also incorporate a wilderness spot for Hunter Brawlers... Finally: After all those new suggestions an little fixes are complete, some of you may be thinking. "But there's still not enough"! Perfect because what's next will really have your mouth watering. In a last effort attempt to maximise profitability and even out the RISK > REWARD of training within the wilderness. Wilderness Rewards! I'd like to rejuvenate the idea/Suggestion I made back in 2018 of implementing "Wilderness Tickets/Tokens" to the game. Wilderness Tickets or Tokens would be gathered from actively playing within the wilderness, this could be from either Skilling (at the newly refreshed Resource Area or Agility Course), Bossing any of the many wilderness bosses we have, OR being "THAT" guy... You know... A PKER! These newly found Wilderness Tickets/Tokens would inhereitley be given to a player after each log they chop, or fish they catch, Player they kill or Boss they slay. The tokens will be kept on the player until banked outside of the wilderness. Wilderness Reward Shop Here is where I need community input. Ofcourse the Wilderness Tickets/Tokens can be used at the "Wilderness Rewards Shop" Located conveniently at the house north of bank at home. But what that shop contains is up to you guys, the community. Below you'll find an example shop, ofcourse there will be no Chaotics or Scrolls in the shop! so disregard those...   46. Welcome to the Ely Speed PVM Tournament! We are releasing the announcement of this event so players will have a full 7 days of preparation until the event starts. STOCK UP ON THEM SLAYER POINTS!! In this tournament, you will be able to show off your skills and RNG with a preset setup of gear at the chosen bosses, top 2 fastest kill times take home the lootations for each designated boss. You will have 5 attempts for each boss to secure your fastest time (This can be monitored via kc, which must be shown at the start and end of the boss via the in-game console ~). This event is designed for mid to end game ironmen and regular players. In order to enter the tournament, you will need to be recording each interaction with the bosses, before and after as shown in the video example. Once recorded, we ask you to please upload the RAW, UNEDITED video to YouTube as an unlisted video and then send it to us, @Satoshi, @GIM Opoxi, @Lation via Discord. We will have a leaderboard system located at the bottom of this thread showcasing the fastest times, so players will know who is currently in the lead for each of the bosses. These will be updated ONCE per day. Please note, you do not have to participate in EVERY boss on the tier list. STARTING DATE = 12/13/2021 DEADLINE = 12/19/2021 WINNERS ANNOUNCMENT DATE = 12/20/2021 Rules: Player must be recording at all times, completely raw, unedited videos uploaded to YouTube and sent to @Satoshi/@GIM Opoxi/@Lation via discord for review.   48. earning the gems should not be that easy there could be an other way to earn the gems too, like rare drops from bosses or daily tasks like chop 100 logs or kill 50 bosses and such, this would make it more fun to earn gems. but support on the change
